Olga Abramchik
Olga Abramchik was born in Minsk in 1988. She graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a degree in Television Directing. In 2018, Olga completed a master's program at The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondricek (Czech Republic) with a Master's degree in Documentary Film Directing. Currently, Olga works as a multimedia producer at the Current Time TV channel. While working at the Current Time TV, she has shot several documentary films: "The Coach," which tells the story of the team consisting of blind football players from Vitebsk, and "We Didn't Know Each Other Until This Summer," which covers the protests in Belarus following the 2020 presidential elections. Olga Abramchik's latest documentary film, "Everything Is Fine. I'm Sleeping" focuses on phone calls made by "concerned" citizens to the police with complaints about the protesters and those who openly disagreed with the current government's policies in Belarus.
