Vladimir Kozlov

Vladimir Kozlov was born and raised in the Belarusian city of Mogilev. He is a graduate of the Minsk Linguistic University. Vladimir wrote more than ten books of prose and non-fiction, including "gopniki" ("hoods") (2002), "School" (2003), "1986" (2012), and "Inner Empire" (2021). His prose is included in the long-lists of many awards, including the Kazakov Award, the National Bestseller Literary Prize (Natsbest), the Big Book, New Literature (NOS), and the Vavyorchyn Award. Kozlov’s books have been published in France, Serbia, and the USA. Vladimir is a scriptwriter and director of independent feature films and documentaries, which were screened and awarded at many international film festivals.
